We are very fortunate to have Ms. Koefod, a parent and professional muralist, paint our mural. From the planning phase to actually painting the mural, it was an experience to remember! As soon as I shared with her the nature of work that we wanted, I did not have to say more! she let her vivid imagination complete the rest, and came up with something educational, colorful, captivating, and certainly long lasting. In short, what she came up with is nothing short of a masterpiece! I remember the first day of school when students showed up at our doors, they were immediately attracted to the mural. Everyone was in awe as to the artistry and educationally refreshing nature of the mural! Ms. Koefod worked with a lot of skill, dexterity, and gusto to complete the project, and it is not surprising that students and others cannot pass by without stopping to look at the mural and guess which countries' flags are represented. It has also been, and continues to be an educational activity for a number of our classrooms! Thank you for sharing your talent with us!
